	The flying, full-scale replica of the original, built during 1991-1993 by Bill Turner of Repeat Aircraft, Riverside, California, for Tom Wathen. It matches the original except for a three degree wing washout, hydraulic landing gear retraction system, modern instruments, and modern brakes.

	The Schneider Trophy race was Europe's premier speed event for floatplanes. After winning three years in succession, Britain retained the trophy with the Supermarien S6B, forerunner of its more famous progeny, the Spitfire.

	The Cleveland Air Races in America were some of the most hotly contested flying events in the inter-war years, the heyday of aviation development and competition. This site records many of the aircraft and pilots of the time. Cleveland eventually closed after one too many accidents and moved to a safer venue - at Reno.
